Design by contractor and Approval by the Project Manager. 23.1 The contractor shall be responsible for the design of permanent works as specified in SCC. 23.2 Contractor shall be responsible for design of the Temporary Works. The Contractor shall submit Specifications and Drawings showing the proposed Temporary Works to the Project Manager, for his approval. 23.3 All Drawings prepared by the Contractor for the execution of the temporary or permanent Works, shall be subject to prior approval by the Project Manager before their use. 23.4 The Project Manager‘s approval shall not alter the Contractor‘s responsibility for design of temporary works. 24.
