Responsibility of the Commission. The Commission shall carry out its work according to the stipulations of the Agreement and have the following responsibilities: a. The repair, reconstruction, restoration and re-erection of boundary markers at new location, as and when needed; b. To approve and supervise the projects and programs of cross-border water; c. To approve and supervise the projects of cross-border facilities; d. To appoint representatives in-Charge of various specific boundary affairs according to the need; e. To amend or supplement the appendixes of the Agreement; f. To work out differences in explanations of the clauses of the Agreement in the process of implementing the Agreement; g. To discuss and settle the boundary incidents which the boundary representatives could not settle; h. To supervise the implementation of the Agreement; i. To negotiate and resolve other important issues related to the maintenance of the Nepal-China Boundary Management System. CHAPTER 3
