Common use of 401(k) RETIREMENT PROVISION Clause in Contracts

401(k) RETIREMENT PROVISION. In addition to the wage rates listed in the Schedules attached hereto, the Employers shall pay into a 401(k) Retirement Fund known as the “Eastern Washing- ton-Northern Idaho Carpenters Retirement Fund” (which sponsors the Eastern Washington-Northern Xxx- ho 401(k) Retirement Plan) effective June 1, 2012, an employer non-elective contribution a sum as listed in Schedule “A-1” per compensable hour for all employ- ees covered by this agreement . Such payments shall be made monthly on or before the 15th of the month following that for which contributions are being made and shall be deposited in a delegated bank or banks in accordance with the negotiated Trust Agreement dated January 2, 2002 between the Inland Northwest Associated General Contractors of America, Inc . and the Pacific Northwest Regional Council of Carpenters and the individual members thereof . The signatory employers agree to abide by all the terms and con- ditions of the Trust Agreement and any amendments heretofore or hereafter adopted . The Trust Agreement, as amended, is incorporated by reference and made a part of this Agreement . In addition, for any employee who elects to have tax-deferred elective contributions deducted from his compensation for remittance to the Eastern Washing- ton-Northern Idaho Carpenters 401(k) Retirement Plan, the signatory employers agree to remit such elec- tive contributions on the employee’s behalf monthly on or before the 15th day of the month following the month in which the employee has had the contribu- tions deducted from his compensation, in accordance with the Trust Agreement referenced above .
