Common use of A promotion Clause in Contracts

A promotion. a movement to a classification with either a greater range or more hours, days or months. The above categories are not mutually exclusive and “classification” as used in this Article, is defined as it is in Education Code section 88001(a), that is a distinct position with a title, number of hours per day, days per week and months per year.
