Academic Specialist (NASM. (a) An Academic Specialist (NASM) shall not be required to use more than 80% of available duty time for defined tasks and functions of the position. (b) The Academic Specialist (NASM) will exercise discretion over the use of a minimum of 20% of available duty time for professional requirements/activities/attendant duties having due regard for the operational requirements of the Institute.
