ACEA Multiemployer Bargaining. Unit The Union recognizes the Allied Construction Employers Association as the bargaining unit for all Employers who have so authorized the Association for all work covered under this Addendum. The Association agrees to furnish to the Union lists of such Employers prior to execution of this Addendum, and upon request thereafter. Upon such authorization any Employer shall become a member of the multi- employer bargaining unit here involved and thereby a party to this Addendum. Individual Employers who have not so authorized the Association shall, by becoming party to this Addendum, become part of said multi-employer bargaining unit. Said individual Employer authorizes the ACEA to negotiate successor Xxxxxxxxx on its behalf and specifically adopts all provisions of any successor Xxxxxxxx entered into between the Allied Construction Employers Association and the Union. Withdrawal from the multi-employer bargaining unit may be accomplished only by written notice to the Union and to the Association, at least ninety (90) days, but no more than one hundred twenty (120) days prior to date of expiration of this Agreement or of any renewal period hereof. Notice to the Association, wherever is required herein, shall constitute notice to each and all members of the multi-employer bargaining unit.

  • Pension Plan 15.01 The CLAC Pension Plan (“the Plan”), a defined contribution pension plan, is registered with the Canada Revenue Agency. The Plan applies to all employees covered by this Agreement.

  • Pension Plans Any of the following events shall occur with respect to any Pension Plan:

  • Sick Leave Benefit Plan The Sick Leave Benefit Plan will provide sick leave days and short term disability days for reasons of personal illness, personal injury, including personal medical appointments and personal dental appointments.

  • Mid-Term Bargaining Section 38.1. Subject to the specific rights retained by the Employer in this Agreement, the Employer recognizes its legal obligation under O.R.C. Chapter 4117 to bargain with the FOP prior to implementation of any changes in wages, hours, or other terms and conditions of employment applicable to members of the bargaining units. Prior to implementing new or changed work rules, policies, or other changes that materially affect wages, hours, or terms or conditions of employment of bargaining unit employees, the Employer will notify the Union seven (7) days in advance of the effective day of implementation. If the Union requests to bargain over such change within the notice period, the Employer and the Union will negotiate in good faith. If the Employer and the Union bargain to impasse, the parties may submit the issues to non-binding mediation. However, if the change is not a topic of bargaining under RC Chapter 4117, or in the case if the change is necessary due to exigent circumstances or a state or federal directive or regulation, the Employer is not required to give a seven (7) day notice or to bargain over the implementation of the change; however, the Employer may elect to do so if time permits, without waiving its rights.

  • WELFARE PLAN Section 1: The Plan There shall be a Welfare Plan pursuant to the terms and conditions of Exhibit "C", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement. Membership in the Plan for all eligible employees shall be a condition of employment on and after July 1, 1973.

  • ERISA The Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended.

  • Self-Funded Leave 25.2.1 An employee may apply to participate in the self funded leave plan as permitted under the Income Tax Act (Canada) in order to defer pre-tax salary dollars to fund a leave of absence. The deferral period must be at least one (1) year and not more than four (4) years.
