Activities to be carried out by the contractor’s Staff ( Operator) as part of the contract  Intensive cleaning of Escalators should be carried out on as per schedule and time given by the Section Engineer-in-charge.  Clean the Escalators and the surroundings of the Escalators of dust and muck on daily basis.  Check for any un usual sound while the Escalator is in operation and also check visually for any damage in Escalator. Inform the Railways Engineer-incharge/ Controller/AMC holder immediately on noticing any such abnormalities.  If any passenger got trapped in the Escalator, Switch off the Escalator using Emergency Stop button and release out the passenger. Check the Escalators for its safe operation and operate.  Maintain a log Book detailing daily incidents in each shift and get the signature of Section Engineer-in-charge  Assist the passengers to use the Escalators safely.  If any passenger got injury due to trapped on the Escalator, the staff(Operator) should do minimum first aid and inform to state Government Ambulance (108) Service, Railway hospital/Coimbatore and to Senior Section Engineer / Electrical /Power / Coimbatore and Station Master.  The keys for operating Escalators should be collected from the concerned SSE and the same shall be handed over on completion of duty hours.  The Escalators Attendant should compulsorily wear the prescribed uniform while on duty. The uniform prescribed is Khaki Pants and White slack shirt and the required number of uniforms shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. The contractor should arrange competent substitutes whenever the regular attendant is not able to attend the duties owing to sickness or for any other reasons. The Escalators attendants should be mentally and physically sound.  The contractor has to advise Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer, the name of persons including the stand in nominated for xxxxxxx of the Escalators along with 2 passport size photos of each. The contractor has to arrange the necessary identity cards in favour of each and obtain the signature of the Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer, Salem on the same. The Escalators Attendant should compulsorily possess the identity card while on duty and should produce the same for verification whenever he is asked to do so.

Activities to be carried out by the Partner: The Partner shall carry out the following activities, in close consultation with BRS/UNEP and in accordance with the annexes to the present Agreement, in order to ensure the successful organization and the conduct of the Project: - To send out invitation letters and registration forms to invited representatives of Parties to the BRS Conventions and of other stakeholders, in line with the list set out in Annex 1 to this Agreement, and based on the invitation letter templates and list of contact details to be provided by BRS/UNEP; - To receive, check and confirm registrations from funded and non-funded participants, in line with the requirements specified in the invitation letters; - To maintain a list of registered participants and share it with BRS/UNEP for approval; - To send out confirmation letters to registered and confirmed participants, based on the template provided by BRS/UNEP and the list of confirmed participants approved by BRS/UNEP. - To arrange and pay for air tickets making use of the list of confirmed participants approved by BRS/UNEP and in accordance with the United Nations/UNEP financial rules and regulations (see Annex 2: Budget and Implementation Plan); - To arrange and pay, via money transfer to each participant, an advance of 75% (Seventy-Five per cent) of the Daily Subsistence Allowance (DSA) to sponsored participants prior to the event as agreed by BRS/UNEP (see Annex 2: Budget and Implementation Plan), and in accordance with the United Nations financial rules and regulations. The remaining 25% (Twenty-Five per cent) as well as the allowance for terminal expenses shall be paid upon receipt of airline boarding passes. The Partner shall make its best efforts to recover funds from participants who do not submit airline boarding passes. Each funded participant shall be responsible for reserving and paying their own accommodation; - To register participants at the opening of the meetings and prepare the list of participants having attended the Meetings; - To enter into other such administrative and/or contractual arrangements as may be reasonably required for the effective completion of the responsibilities under the present Agreement, as agreed with BRS/UNEP; - To provide other such reasonable input as may be required by BRS/UNEP and within a reasonable time to enable it to carry out its obligations under this Agreement and/or ensure effective operation of the Meetings; - To provide support on the technical issues as...

  • Activities Except with the prior written consent of the Board, Executive will not during his employment with the Company undertake or engage in any other employment, occupation or business enterprise, other than ones in which Executive is a passive investor. Executive may engage in civic and not-for-profit activities so long as such activities do not materially interfere with the performance of his duties hereunder.

  • Other Activities of the Advisor Except as set forth in this Section 14 , nothing herein contained shall prevent the Advisor or any of its Affiliates from engaging in or earning fees from other activities, including the rendering of advice to other Persons (including other REITs) and the management of other programs advised, sponsored or organized by the Sponsor or its Affiliates; nor shall this Agreement limit or restrict the right of any director, officer, member, partner, employee or stockholder of the Advisor or any of its Affiliates to engage in or earn fees from any other business or to render services of any kind to any other Person and earn fees for rendering such services; provided, however , that the Advisor must devote sufficient resources to the Company’s business to discharge its obligations to the Company under this Agreement. The Advisor may, with respect to any investment in which the Company is a participant, also render advice and service to each and every other participant therein, and earn fees for rendering such advice and service. Specifically, it is contemplated that the Company may enter into Joint Ventures or other similar co-investment arrangements with certain Persons, and pursuant to the agreements governing such Joint Ventures or arrangements, the Advisor may be engaged to provide advice and service to such Persons, in which case the Advisor will earn fees for rendering such advice and service. The Advisor shall report to the Board the existence of any condition or circumstance, existing or anticipated, of which it has knowledge, which creates or could create a conflict of interest between the Advisor’s obligations to the Company and its obligations to or its interest in any other Person. If the Advisor, Director or Affiliates thereof have sponsored other investment programs with similar investment objectives which have investment funds available at the same time as the Company, the Advisor shall inform the Board of the method to be applied by the Advisor in allocating investment opportunities among the Company and competing investment entities and shall provide regular updates to the Board of the investment opportunities provided by the Advisor to competing programs in order for the Board (including the Independent Directors) to fulfill its duty to ensure that the Advisor and its Affiliates use their reasonable best efforts to apply such method fairly to the Company.

  • Other Activities of the Adviser The services of the Adviser to the Corporation are not exclusive, and the Adviser may engage in any other business or render similar or different services to others including, without limitation, the direct or indirect sponsorship or management of other investment based accounts or commingled pools of capital, however structured, having investment objectives similar to those of the Corporation, so long as its services to the Corporation hereunder are not impaired thereby, and nothing in this Agreement shall limit or restrict the right of any manager, partner, member (including its members and the owners of its members), officer or employee of the Adviser to engage in any other business or to devote his or her time and attention in part to any other business, whether of a similar or dissimilar nature, or to receive any fees or compensation in connection therewith (including fees for serving as a director of, or providing consulting services to, one or more of the Corporation’s portfolio companies, subject to applicable law). The Adviser assumes no responsibility under this Agreement other than to render the services called for hereunder. It is understood that directors, officers, employees and stockholders of the Corporation are or may become interested in the Adviser and its affiliates, as directors, officers, employees, partners, stockholders, members, managers or otherwise, and that the Adviser and directors, officers, employees, partners, stockholders, members and managers of the Adviser and its affiliates are or may become similarly interested in the Corporation as stockholders or otherwise.

  • Other Activities of Administrator Nothing herein shall prevent the Administrator or its Affiliates from engaging in other businesses or, in its or their sole discretion, from acting as an administrator for any other person or entity, or in a similar capacity therefor, even though such person or entity may engage in business activities similar to those of the Issuer, the Owner Trustee or the Indenture Trustee.

  • No Other Activities The Issuer will not engage in activities other than financing, acquiring, owning and pledging the Trust Property as described in the Transaction Documents and activities incidental to those activities.

  • Other Activities Your services pursuant to this Agreement shall not be deemed to be exclusive, and you may render similar services and act as an underwriter, distributor or dealer for other investment companies in the offering of their shares.
