Additional Release. In addition, each Releasor hereby expressly waives and releases, upon the Effective Date, any and all provisions, rights, and/or benefits conferred by Section 1542 of the California Civil Code, which reads:
Additional Release. The City will continue to release members for the following functions/activities:
(A) A maximum of thirty five (35) members to attend the National F.O.P conference and a maximum of thirty five (35) members to attend the State
Additional Release. The City will continue to release members for the following functions/activities:
(A) A maximum of thirty five (35) members to attend the National F.O.P conference and a maximum of thirty five (35) members to attend the State F.O.P. Conference. Additional members may be released pursuant to Section 6.5.
(B) To attend grievance representative training provided by the Lodge;
(C) A maximum of twenty (20) members to attend the Police Memorial Service, May 15 of each calendar year, unless a member is to be honored. In such a year a maximum of thirty-five (35) members shall be released to attend.
(D) Up to 4,000 hours for up to seven (7) designated team members for preparation for negotiations in advance of the parties first bargaining session (the bargaining session normally devoted to establishing ground rules and schedules), and thereafter, reasonable time for negotiation sessions, work sessions of Lodge negotiators between bargaining sessions, and work sessions in preparation for and during any Article 38 dispute resolution process. It is understood that the release of no more than seven (7) members does not prevent the Lodge from placing upon its Negotiating Team(s) any other member, but release of additional member(s) will be taken from the Lodge Time Bank, as provided in Section 6.5 of this Contract. If the City chooses to bargain the contract of officers [as specified in Section 3.2(A)] and supervisors [as specified in Section 3.2(B)] separately, each bargaining unit shall be provided 4,000 hours for up to seven (7) designated team members. Except for the provisions of Section 6.6(D), release for these functions/activities shall not be deducted from the Lodge Time Bank as provided in this Section.
Additional Release. In addition, upon the Effective Date, Settling Plaintiffs and each member of the Settlement Class hereby expressly waives and releases any and all provisions, rights, and benefits conferred by § 1542 of the California Civil Code, which reads:
Additional Release. Reliant, as of the Settlement Effective Date, hereby releases each of the California Parties from all existing and future claims before FERC and/or under the Federal Power Act arising from or relating to any allegation that, during the Settlement Period, any California Party is liable for any additional payments to Reliant not provided for herein for congestion charges or for electric energy or ancillary services.
Additional Release. Provided that Executive has signed and delivered on or promptly after the Retirement Date to the Company a general release identical in form and substance to the form of release attached hereto as Exhibit A relating to claims arising or that may arise from events during the Continuing Employment Period (the "Additional Release"), which Additional Release by its terms has become effective and is in compliance with the material terms of this Agreement, the Company further releases Executive, his successors and assigns from any and all claims, demands, actions and causes of action of every kind, nature or description (collectively "claims") that the Company may have had, may now have, or may hereafter have against Executive, including without limitation any and all claims in any way related to or based upon Executive's employment with the Company during the Continuing Employment Period and/or the cessation of Executive's service as an employee of the Company, including without limitation any claims for breach of contract, implied contract, promissory estoppel, tortious conduct or claims arising under any federal or state statute or law or local ordinance, existing as of the date of this Agreement and the Company shall sign and deliver at such time a general release to such effect identical in form and substance to the form of release attached hereto as Exhibit B. Provided, however, that if either party were to breach this Agreement, such further release would not bar an action by the non-breaching party against the breaching party to enforce its term(s) or any applicable laws nor would such release cover any action based on a claim excluded from the release by Section 14(d).
Additional Release. As a condition to Employee’s receipt of Severance Pay as provided for in Section 3 of this Agreement, Employee shall execute and deliver the Release attached hereto as Exhibit A to Xxxxxxx Xxxxxx at the Company within twenty-one (21) days of the Last Date of Employment.

Additional Release. The Employee and the Company agree that on or after the Separation Date, the Employee and the Company will execute a supplemental release covering the period from the Effective Date to the Separation Date. The Employee agrees that all Company covenants that relate to obligations of the Company beyond the Separation Date will be contingent upon on the execution of the supplemental release. The release will be in the form of Exhibit #1 attached to this Agreement.
