Adjustment for Quantity Deficit. If Con- tract Area Map shows Payment Units where Marking or Measuring is to be completed after the date of contract ad- vertisement and if Contracting Officer determines that a deficit in the estimated quantity will cause the quantity des- ignated to be less than 90 percent of the total estimate shown in AT2, Forest Service, upon request by Contractor, shall designate additional timber within Contract Area. Such additional timber shall be limited to that estimated to be necessary to reach approximately the estimated quan- tities by species listed in AT2. Any such additional desig- nation shall be consistent with land and resource manage- ment plans.
