Affirmative Action and Americans with Disabilities Programs. The Parties agree that during the term of this Agreement the PBA may contact the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) for the purpose of conducting a consultation meeting. Such meeting shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of Article 5 of the Agreement. At the initial meeting, the agency shall provide to the PBA an orientation to the agency’s current affirmative action program and efforts to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

  • Americans with Disabilities Act The Contractor shall be and remain in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (“Act”), to the extent applicable, during the term of the Contract. DAS may Terminate the Contract if the Contractor fails to comply with the Act.

  • Medical Leave Pursuant to applicable provisions of the Civil Service Rules, County Code, and other law, medical leaves of absence will be granted by the employee’s Department Head upon request only upon submission of a doctor’s certificate or other satisfactory medical evidence of the employee’s need for such leave.
