Afternoon or Night Shift Allowances. 20.6.1 A shift worker whilst on afternoon or night shift shall be paid for such shift 15 per cent more than their ordinary rate. 20.6.2 A shift worker who works on an afternoon or night shift which does not continue: for at least 5 successive afternoons or nights in a 5 day workshop of 6 successive afternoons or nights in a 6 day workshop; or for at least the number of ordinary hours prescribed by one of the alternative arrangements in subclauses 20.1 and 20.2 hereof, shall be paid for each shift 50 per cent for the first three hours thereof and 100 per cent for the remaining hours thereof in addition to their ordinary rate.
