Alternate Members. The Board may designate one or more directors as alternate members of any committee, who may replace any absent or disqualified member at any meeting of such committee. In the absence or disqualification of a member of the committee, the member or members thereof present at any meeting and not disqualified from voting, whether or not he, she or they constitute a quorum, may unanimously appoint another member of the Board to act at the meeting in place of any such absent or disqualified member.
Alternate Members. 6.3.2.1. There must be one (1) alternate member from each of the three (3) municipal categories, selected in the same manner as the primary members. There must be one (1) alternate member from County, who shall be the County’s alternate member of the Governing Board.
6.3.2.2. Alternate members may only vote when a primary member of the Executive Committee in the applicable category is absent from the meeting. Alternate members may attend and participate during discussion in all meetings.
6.3.2.3. Alternate members will count towards quorum only when they are serving as voting members.
Alternate Members. Each Party must appoint one (1) of its elected officials as an alternate member to serve on the Governing Board in the absence of that Party’s primary appointed member. An alternate member may only vote when the primary member of the Governing Board for that Party is absent from the meeting. Alternate members may attend and participate during discussion in all Governing Board meetings.

Alternate Members. There shall also be two (2) alternate members, either of whom may be designated by the Committee to act as a substitute for any member of the Committee in the event of the member's unavailability or disability.

Alternate Members. Each Member Jurisdiction may, in its discretion, appoint alternate(s) for its Members of the NCTPA Board. An alternate shall be an elected official of the governing board of the appointing Member Jurisdiction. Any appointed alternate Members may attend in place of that jurisdiction’s Member and participate in discussions of the NCTPA Board in the same manner as the Members, but an alternate of a voting Member shall vote only when the Member for whom he or she is an alternate is physically absent or cannot vote due to a conflict of interest.
Alternate Members. The Board of Directors may designate one or more eligible Directors as alternate members of any committee of the Board of Directors who may replace any absent or disqualified member or members at any meeting of any such committee; provided, that any alternate member to an Independent Director on such committee must be an Independent Director.
Alternate Members. One (1) alternate member of the Organization board may be appointed by appropriate resolution or certified copy of official meeting minutes of the governing body of each party to this Agreement, filed with the Organization. The alternate member may attend any meeting of the Organization board when a regular member representing that party is absent and vote on behalf of the party the member represents. If an Organization board member is also an officer of the Organization, the alternate member shall not be entitled to serve as such officer.
