Common use of Applicants To Be Acknowledged Clause in Contracts

Applicants To Be Acknowledged. The Employer shall acknowledge receipt of each application for a posted job vacancy and the applicants and the Union shall be advised of the name of the person selected to fill the vacancy and the employment status; seniority date; job title; job group; component; and permanent headquarters of that person and, in the case of a person hired from outside of the bargaining unit, of the union affiliation or excluded or external hire status of such person. The Union shall be provided with this same information with respect to each unsuccessful applicant.
