Application to this contract. Independent legal advice should be sought by each party concerning whether or not this Contract is an insurable domestic building contract. If – and only if – this is an insurable domestic building contract, then all the references to “warranty insurance” in this document (including sub-clauses 5.3 - 5.5) will apply to the Contract. Otherwise all provisions will be void to the extent that they deal with warranty insurances.
