Appointments Not Covered. A person shall be employed on a casual basis and shall not be covered by this Collective Agreement when that person works for not more than four (4) consecutive weeks and/or instructs for not more than:

Appointments Not Covered. Notwithstanding clause 16.1 (e) and (f) where, in exceptional circumstances, an Employee with regular status requests and the College approves a temporary absence from the Employee’s bargaining unit position to another opportunity in the bargaining unit for a period longer than provided in clause 16.1 (e) and (f), the time limitations of term appointments shall not apply to the Employee appointed to backfill for the Employee who is temporarily absent.
Appointments Not Covered. Emergency appointments as defined in Section 809 of the Personnel Management Regulations, and retiree temporary appointments as provided for in Government Code, Section 31680.2, are not covered by this Letter of Understanding.

  • Medical Appointments Medical appointments may be charged to sick leave. The employee must notify the supervisor of a medical appointment at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance except in case of emergency.

  • Appointment of Stewards A. The Union will certify to the Employer in writing a xxxxxxx or stewards and alternates in accordance with the following general guidelines.
