Common use of APRONS AND UNIFORMS Clause in Contracts

APRONS AND UNIFORMS. 21.01 Kitchen staff shall be provided aprons free of charge by the Employer. 21.02 All employees shall be given a uniform allowance by the Employer as follows: a. Full-time - $13.00/month b. Part-time - $7.00/month An employee must work at least twelve (12) hours in the month to get the month’s credit. Such allowance shall be paid by the Employer two (2) times per contract year on a separate cheque, the payments being due on the pay period closest to June 30th and December 31st of each year. The purpose of the uniform allowance is for the purchase and maintenance of uniforms.
