Common use of Arbitrator Authority Clause in Contracts

Arbitrator Authority. The arbitrator shall have no power to add to or subtract from or modify any of the terms of this Agreement. The arbitrator shall have no power to establish wage rates or to rule on the proper assignment of work by the College. Any award decided by the arbitrator shall be subject to the limitations on backpay established in Sections 7.4 and 7.11.
