ARTICLE H – PAID HOLIDAYS. H-1 The designated holidays under Article 15.01 are as follows: New Year's Day - January 1 January 2nd Family Day – 3rd Monday in February Good Friday Easter Monday Victoria Day Canada Day - July 1 Civic Holiday Labour Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day - December 25 Boxing Day - December 26
ARTICLE H – PAID HOLIDAYS. H-1 In reference to Article 15.01 (full-time) or 15.08 (part-time), the twelve (12) Paid Holidays are as follows: New Year's Day Civic Day Family Day Labour Day Good Friday Thanksgiving Day Easter Monday Remembrance Day Victoria Day Christmas Day Canada Day – July 1 Boxing Day H-2 For the purposes of this Article, a paid holiday shall consist of twenty-four (24) hours, commencing at 2300 hours on the day prior to the day on which the paid holiday is recognized.
ARTICLE H – PAID HOLIDAYS. H-1 A full-time nurse shall be entitled to the following recognized holidays per year: January 1 Civic Holiday Third Monday in February Labour Day Good Friday Thanksgiving Day Victoria Day Remembrance Day 2nd Monday in June December 25 July 1 December 26 H-2 A lieu day shall be granted at a time mutually agreeable between the Manager and the Nurse. A nurse may, however, elect to accumulate up to five (5) such alternative days and take them on consecutive days at a time agreeable to the nurse and the Hospital. Such days are not to be taken in conjunction with the annual vacation. Stats accumulated during a calendar year must be taken by March 31st of the following year. Note: Where positions exist that are scheduled from Monday to Friday the incumbents shall be scheduled off Statutory Holidays.

Such requests will not be unreasonably denied. A written reply will be given to the employee no later than one (1) week following such request.
