Common use of Assignment and Sublease by Lessee Clause in Contracts

Assignment and Sublease by Lessee. Lessee may not assign, transfer, pledge, or encumber this Lease or any portion of the Equipment (or any interest in this Lease or the Equipment), or sublet the Equipment, without the prior written consent of Lessor. Consent to any of the foregoing acts shall not constitute a consent to any subsequent like act by Lessee or any other person. Lessee agrees that Lessor may impose on the Equipment such plates or other means of identification as necessary to indicate that the Equipment is subject to this Lease and the restrictions set forth in this Section.
