ASSOCIATION BUSINESS DURING SCHOOL HOURS. The Association, the Board, and their representatives agree that matters relating to supervisor-employee or Board-employee relationships shall not be discussed in the presence of students. Employees or representatives of the Association shall be allowed on the premises of the District during working hours for the purpose of meeting with the Administration to discuss mutual concerns. Association employees or representatives shall not conduct Association business with other Association members during the employee’s regular working hours. However, Association employees or representatives may discuss Association business with employees while the employee is on break or during the employee’s lunch period.

ASSOCIATION BUSINESS DURING SCHOOL HOURS. Association matters shall be conducted outside the normal teaching day, unless otherwise approved by the Building Principal or prior approval has been given by the Superintendent or designee. However, the Association, through its authorized representatives, may meet with school employees in the school building during non-assigned times provided notification to the Building Principal has occurred prior to the meeting. The Association shall not use faculty meeting time for Association business, unless otherwise approved by the Building Principal. Distribution of Association materials in the presence of pupils must be avoided unless prior approval has been given by the Superintendent or designee.
ASSOCIATION BUSINESS DURING SCHOOL HOURS. The president of the Association or his/her designees and the UniServ Consultant shall be permitted to visit schools in the District for the purpose of meeting with employees covered by this Agreement. During school hours, the president or his/her designees and the UniServ consultant shall make his/her presence known to the principal or staff member's immediate supervisor or in his/her absence his/her designee upon entering the building. It is understood that such visits will not interfere with the normal duties of the President, his/her designees or the staff member(s) to be contacted.
ASSOCIATION BUSINESS DURING SCHOOL HOURS. The Association shall be permitted to transact its official business on school property during the school day as long as it will not interfere with the teaching responsibilities of an employee or attempt to interrupt normal school operations. The principal has the right to halt any activities which will interrupt normal school activities. The President of the Association and/or a designee and/or the UniServ Consultant for the Association shall have the right to visit schools and individual employees so long as such visits will not interfere with the normal teaching duties of the employee to be contacted.

  • Illness During Vacation (The following clause is applicable to full-time employees only)

  • Holiday During Vacation If a holiday, named under Article 7 of this Agreement, falls within the vacation period of an employee, he shall be granted an additional day's pay in lieu of the holiday.

  • Holidays During Vacation If a paid holiday falls or is observed during an employee's vacation period, he/she shall be granted an additional day's vacation with pay for each holiday in addition to his/her regular vacation time.

  • Time off during notice period During the period of notice of termination given by the employer, an employee shall be allowed up to one day's time off without loss of pay for the purpose of seeking other employment. This time off shall be taken at times that are convenient to the employee after consultation with the employer.
