Common use of Assumption by Transferees Clause in Contracts

Assumption by Transferees. Any Permitted Transferee shall assume in writing all of Tenant’s duties, obligations and responsibilities under the Lease. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Lease, any and all options granted to Tenant under this Lease may be exercised by a Permitted Assignee (other than a subtenant), or any other assignee or transferee (other than a subtenant) approved by Landlord pursuant to Section 16.1. Also, Xxxxxxxx’s consent shall not be required for any public offering of stock of Tenant through a nationally recognized exchange.
