Common use of Attribution of emails* and reliance Clause in Contracts

Attribution of emails* and reliance. Except to the extent that: (i) the Purported Originator* of an email* and the Addressee* of the email* agree otherwise; or (ii) the Purported Originator* of an email* proves otherwise, the Addressee* of an email* in respect of which an Automated Response Message* has been given may assume for all purposes under this Contract* that the: (iii) Purported Originator* of the email* is the Originator* of the email*; and (iv) email* was sent by, or with the knowledge and express authority of, the Purported Originator*.
