Authorised Officer. 6.1.1 Each Partner is required to appoint a member of the senior management team to be the Authorised Officer for their organisation.  Signing approval of certain changes to the s75 Agreement (as identified in the s75 Agreement);  Ensuring the record of minutes of meeting of the Integrated Commissioning Board is maintained. 6.1.2 The scope of these roles will be subject to the delegations approved by each Partner. 6.1.3 Authorised Officers are to be members of the Integrated Commissioning Board.

The Customer shall also appoint a person who is competent to fulfil the duties of the Forestry Works Manager, to commission the Harvesting and to be responsible for the safe planning and execution of all necessary activities in and around the Work Site. The Customer’s Representative and the Forestry Works Manager may be the same individual. The Customer will provide NRW’s Authorised Officer with the name and contact details of the Customer’s Representative and the Forestry Works Manager prior to the Felling Commencement Date and will notify NRW promptly of any changes during the Term. The Customer's Representative, the Forestry Works Manager and the Authorised Officer shall be available during Working Hours to communicate with each other. The Customer’s Representative, the Forestry Works Manager and the Authorised Officer or their respective nominated deputies must also be contactable outside of Working Hours in case of emergency. If the Authorised Officer or the Customer's Representative or the Forestry Works Manager is unavailable for whatever reason, each shall authorise a deputy to perform their duties. The Customer shall give Notice of any change of the Customer's Representative or the Forestry Works Manager or their deputies to the Authorised Officer as soon as reasonably practical. The Customer's Representative shall immediately inform the Authorised Officer of any acts or omissions on the part of NRW that may prevent or hinder the Customer from undertaking the Harvesting. Authorised Officer. 22.1 The Authorised Officer shall be the Supplier Relationship Manager or such other person appointed pursuant to this clause 22 (Authorised Officer). To the extent that it is reasonably possible the Authority shall not change the identity of the Authorised Officer without first discussing the matter with the Supplier. 22.2 The Authority shall as soon as reasonably practicable give notice to the Supplier of the appointment or replacement of any Authorised Officer or if any person ceases to be the Authorised Officer. 22.3 The Supplier shall in no circumstances question the existence or extent of the authority of any person notified in writing to the Supplier as authorised to act on the Authority's behalf. 22.4 The Head of the Establishment shall be deemed to be a nominated representative of the Authorised Officer unless and until the Authority informs the Supplier to the contrary. 22.5 The functions of the Hiring Manager are to monitor the work of and supervise Temporaries on behalf of the Authority and the work and activities of the Supplier and the Supplier shall (and shall ensure that Temporaries shall) afford the Hiring Manager every facility in this regard. The Authority, the Hiring Manager and their appointed representatives shall have full power and authority to supply guidance to the Supplier regarding the performance of the Service and the Temporaries and to give any instructions deemed necessary but shall as soon as reasonably practicable confirm in writing any instructions given where appropriate. 22.6 The Authorised Officer shall liaise with and give instructions to the Supplier and its officers, employees, agents or Sub-Contractors in relation to all matters concerning the performance of the Supplier of its obligations under this Agreement and to determine any matters or issue any notices as may be the function of the Authority’s Authorised Officer under this Agreement.
