AUTHORITY, REPRESENTATION AND ASSISTANCE. 6.1 A disputant must participate in the mediation in person or by a representative with authority to make a binding agreement settling the dispute. Each disputant may appoint one or more other persons including legally qualified persons to assist and advise the disputant in the mediation as the disputant thinks fit.
