Average Trading Price Clause Samples
The Average Trading Price clause defines how the average price of a security or asset is calculated over a specified period, typically for the purpose of determining settlement amounts, conversion rates, or triggering certain contractual provisions. This clause usually outlines the exact time frame and the method for averaging, such as using the closing prices over the last 30 trading days. By establishing a clear and objective method for price calculation, the clause helps prevent disputes and ensures fairness in financial transactions that depend on market values.
