BASIC SERVICES OF THE CONSULTANT. The General Scope of Services intended is to update for the City of Highland. Additional information regarding the Basic Services provided by the consultant is detailed in Exhibit “A” under the General Approach, Staffing and Scope of Services section.
BASIC SERVICES OF THE CONSULTANT. This Agreement provides the general terms, obligations and conditions which shall control all work identified and/or described in this Agreement and/or any TASK ORDER(S) issued hereunder. The CONSULTANT, when so authorized by the TOWN, agrees to provide and perform such professional planning and visioning consulting services as the TOWN may require, from time to time, including but not limited to, providing professional planning and visioning professional consulting consultation and advice as set forth in the Scope of Work for RFQ 24-01 which Scope of Work is attached hereto as Exhibit “A” and incorporated herein by reference. The CONSULTANT shall perform any and all services in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner and in accordance with the generally accepted standards of professional consultants. Unless modified in writing by both parties, the services to be performed by the CONSULTANT shall not be construed to exceed those services specifically described in each TASK ORDER. The CONSULTANT shall perform any and all services in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner and in accordance with the generally accepted standards of professional consultants. BASIC SERVICES OF THE CONSULTANT. A. In consideration of the compensation herein provided, Consultant shall perform professional consulting services for the Project, which are acceptable to the County, based on standard practices within the industry and the scope of work described on the Exhibits attached to this Agreement and as otherwise described herein. Furthermore, Consultant shall serve as County's professional consultant in those phases of the Project to which this Agreement applies and will consult with and give advice to County during the performance of Consultant's services.
BASIC SERVICES OF THE CONSULTANT. A. In consideration of the compensation herein provided, Consultant shall perform professional consulting services for the Project, which are acceptable to the County, based on standard practices within the industry and the scope of work described on the Exhibits attached to this Agreement and as otherwise described herein. Furthermore, Consultant shall serve as County's professional consultant in those phases of the Project to which this Agreement applies and will consult with and give advice to County during the performance of Consultant's services. Consultant shall not commence work until Consultant has been thoroughly briefed on the scope of the Project and has been notified in writing by the County to proceed, as evidenced by a Work Authorization substantially in the form of Attachment A to Exhibit I.

The City agrees to furnish to the Consultant full information with respect to the City’s requirements, including any special or extraordinary considerations for the Project or special services needed, and also to make available pertinent existing data. The Consultant shall provide the following basic services in regards to the Project:

The project is generally described as follows: Complete traffic signal design including connection to the existing City fiber system at the intersection of Xxxxxxx Road (US 6) and Private Drive locate 1300-ft west of Alice’s Road in Waukee, Iowa. The design of the WB to SB left turn lane and north/south intersection continuity is included as part of this design. The work to be performed by the Consultant under this agreement shall encompass and include detailed work, services, materials, equipment and supplies necessary to complete the traffic signal design improvements for the project.
