BEGINNING OF WORK. Following receipt and full execution and approval of the Contract Documents, and posting of the requisite Bonds as called for therein, the COUNTY will issue a "Notice to Proceed". Under no circumstances shall the CONTRACTOR enter upon the site of work until receipt of the "Notice to Proceed", unless so authorized in writing by the COUNTY.

You agree that we have no obligation to render the Services until we receive all necessary information requested by us.

BEGINNING OF WORK. This Contract is not effective and binding until approved by the Secretary of the Finance and Administration Cabinet and filed with the Legislative Research Commission’s Government Contract Review Committee. The Contractor shall not commence any billable work until a valid Contract has been fully executed. The Contract shall represent the entire agreement between the parties. Prior negotiations, representations, or agreements, either written or oral, between the parties hereto relating to the subject matter hereof shall be of no effect upon this Contract.

The project site is located in an area which is known to have historical, cultural, and archaeological significance. As such cultural monitors must be onsite whenever any ground disturbing activities are taking place. During the course of the work the Contractor must accommodate the cultural monitors including providing access, stopping work when inspections are necessary and protecting resources when directed.
BEGINNING OF WORK. A pre-construction conference will be held for the Contractor awarded the contract, subcontractors, utility company representatives, and other parties involved in or affected by the project. The conference will be held between the dates of contract award and the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Contractor shall notify the Agency, in writing, of the Contractor’s intent to begin work at least 72 hours before work is begun. The notice shall be delivered to the Engineer.
