BEREAVEMENT FUND. The company agrees to deduct from the wages of each employees, in a given week of a calendar year, such week to be determined by the union, the amount of two dollars ($2.00) to be considered a bereavement fund. BEREAVEMENT FUND. Upon the death of an employee, the company will pay to the deceased employee’s estate any outstanding accrued personal / carers leave. Upon the death of a current employee the Union will arrange a bereavement collection. The total collection amount will be communicated to the site manager. The Company will contribute an amount equal to the amount raised by the Union collection. Example – if $1000 is raised, the Company will donate $1000. The total amount raised will equal $2000.
