Common use of Broken Funding Costs Clause in Contracts

Broken Funding Costs. In the case of sub-Clause (A)(1) and (3) above, the amount payable shall in any event include the amount (if any) by which:- (1) the amount of interest which the relevant person is able to obtain by placing an amount equal to its share of the relevant Advance or overdue sum on deposit in the Singapore inter-bank market, for the remainder of the relevant Interest Period, as soon as reasonably practicable after it becomes aware that the relevant Advance is not being made or (as the case may be) of the relevant receipt or recovery, is less than:- (2) the amount of interest which, in accordance with the expressed terms of this Agreement, would otherwise be payable to that person on its share of that Advance for its first Interest Period or (as the case may be) on the relevant amount so received or recovered for the remainder of the relevant Interest Period.

In the case of sub-Clause Clauses (A)(1) and (3A)(3) above, the amount payable shall in any event include the amount (if any) by which:-which: (1) the amount of interest which the relevant person is able to obtain by placing an amount equal to its share of the relevant Advance Loan or that overdue sum on deposit in the Singapore inter-bank market, for the remainder of the relevant Interest Period, as soon as reasonably practicable after it becomes aware that the relevant Advance Loan is not being made advanced or (as the case may be) of the relevant receipt or recovery, is less than:-than: (2) the amount of interest which, in accordance with the expressed terms of this Agreement, would otherwise be payable to that person on its share of that Advance the Loan for its first Interest Period or (as the case may be) on the relevant amount so received or recovered for the remainder of the relevant Interest Period.
