Buried Utilities. The CONSULTANT and/or its authorized subconsultant will conduct the research that in its professional opinion is necessary with respect to the assumed locations of underground improvements. Such services by the CONSULTANT or its subconsultant will be performed in a manner consistent with the ordinary standard of care. The OWNER recognizes that the research may not identify all underground improvements and that the information upon which the CONSULTANT relies may contain errors or may not be complete. The OWNER agrees, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to waive all claims and causes of action against the CONSULTANT and anyone for whom the CONSULTANT may be legally liable, for damages to underground improvements resulting from subsurface penetration locations established by the CONSULTANT.

Such services by the ENGINEER or its subconsultant will be performed in a manner consistent with an ordinary and reasonable standard of care. The OWNER recognizes that the research may not identify all underground improvements and that the information upon which the ENGINEER relies may contain errors or may not be complete. The OWNER agrees, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to waive all claims and causes or action against the ENGINEER and anyone for whom the ENGINEER may be legally liable, for damages to underground utilities and other improvements resulting from subsurface penetration locations established by the ENGINEER.
Buried Utilities. In those situations where NRG performs subsurface exploration, Client, to the extent of its knowledge, will furnish to NRG information identifying the type and location of utilities and other man-made objects beneath the surface of the project site. NRG will take reasonable precautions to avoid damaging these utilities or objects. Prior to penetrating the project site’s surface, NRG will furnish Client a plan indicating the locations intended for penetration. Client will approve the location of these penetrations and authorize NRG to proceed.
Buried Utilities. OWNER will furnish to PROFESSIONAL information identifying the type and location of utility lines and other man-made objects beneath the site's surface. Buried Utilities. Any known buried utilities are indicated on the Drawings. However, many utility connections near the industrial structures aren’t mapped. The Contractor is obliged to examine all crossings with access roads and map any buried utility and take great not to inflict any damage to existing structures and utilities. Any damage the Contractor inflicts on existing structures and utilities should be repaired at the Contractor’s expenses.
Buried Utilities. E19.19.1 The Contractor shall exercise extreme caution when constructing the pile foundations in the vicinity of existing buried utilities and buildings. The drawings may or may not show the approximate locations of existing buried utilities. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining the exact location of the buried utilities from the appropriate Utility Authorities prior to installing the piles.
Buried Utilities. QCL will contact the central state utility location database system that marks and locates utilities and pipelines, prior to the start of field operations. The CLIENT shall furnish QCL any information that is possessed or may be known, on the type, location and depth of buried objects, utilities, pipelines or other man made objects at the SITE prior to the start of drilling operations. QCL will take reasonable precautions to avoid damaging these man-made objects. The CLIENT agrees to hold QCL and its officers, agents, employees and subcontractors harmless for any property, personal or consequential damage to any buried object, which are not called to our attention or which are not correctly shown on plans furnished to QCL.

Buried Utilities. The City will reimburse Developer for the cost of placing electrical utilities (and other cables, wires, fiber, utilities, etc. located on electrical poles) underground. The amount will be based on invoices reflecting actual amounts paid by Developer, but in any event shall not exceed $100,000. To the extent necessary, the City will assist in coordinating with other utilities to facilitate the burial.
Buried Utilities. PBS field personnel are trained in the public utility notification process and the risk of subsurface work encountering buried utilities. PBS personnel will avoid observable hazards or utilities at the Property and will take reasonable precautions to avoid damage to subsurface structures and utilities. PBS is not responsible for damage or loss due to undisclosed or unknown surface or subsurface conditions. Client will hold PBS and PBS subcontractors harmless from any loss resulting from inaccuracy of markings, of plans, or lack of plans, relating to the location of utilities.
