Business Associate Requirements. DBI acknowledges that it is a Business Associate of the Plan for purposes of the Electronic Transaction Rule. DBI agrees that it shall comply with all Electronic Transaction Rule requirements that may be applicable to DBI with respect to the Services it provides to and on behalf of the Plan. DBI shall also require each of its Agents and Subcontractors to whom DBI provides Protected Information that is received from, or created or received by DBI on behalf of the Plan, to comply with the applicable requirements of the Electronic Transaction Rule.
