California only. If you purchase your contract in California you may cancel the contract according to the following terms. If you inform the Administrator of your request for cancellation in writing within 30 days from the date of receiving the service contract, you will receive a full refund of the service contract purchase price, less the cost of repairs made (if any). If you inform the Administrator of your request for cancellation in writing after 30 days from the date of receiving the service contract, you will receive a pro-rata refund of the service contract purchase price, less the cost of repairs made (if any), and less an administrative fee of 10% of the service contract price up to $25.00.
California only. This Service Agreement may be cancelled by the contract holder for any reason, including, but not limited to, the Product covered under this contract being sold, lost, stolen or destroyed. If You decide to cancel Your Service Agreement, and cancellation notice is received by the Administrator within thirty (30) days for a home appliance or a home electronic or within sixty (60) days for all other products of the date you received the Service Agreement, and you have made no claims against the Service Agreement, you will be refunded the full Service Agreement price; or if your Service Agreement and cancellation notice is cancelled by written notice after thirty (30) days for a home appliance or a home electronic or within sixty (60) days for all other products from the date you received this Service Agreement, you will be refunded a pro-rated amount of the Service Agreement price, less any claims paid, less an administrative fee of ten percent (10%) of the Service Agreement price or $25, whichever is less, unless otherwise precluded by law.
California only. Pursuant to California Civil Code sections 51.7 and 52.1, the option to arbitrate is solely in the discretion of the contract holder. If arbitration is elected, this does not waive the rights of California consumers to file and pursue civil action or complaints. If any statement in this Agreement contradicts this clause, this clause shall take precedence.
California only. If You cancel this Agreement within sixty (60) days from when You receive this Agreement (the “First 60 Days”), You will receive a refund or credit for the full Agreement purchase price unless You had a Covered Claim during the First 60 Days. In the event You had a Covered Claim during the First 60 Days, or You cancel this Agreement after the First 60 Days, Your refund will be the greater of the full Agreement purchase price paid less the cost of any Covered Claim or 100% of the pro-rata unearned portion of the Agreement purchase price paid, if any, based upon elapsed time.

To arrange for cancellation of this Contact, please contact your Dealer/Seller. If you cancel this Contract and the refund due is not paid to you or credited to your account within 30 days after we receive written notice of cancellation, the amount of the required refund or credit will bear interest, payable to you, at the rate of 10% per annum for each additional 30 days or fraction thereof. COLORADO only: You may return this Contract within 20 days of the date the Contract was mailed to you or within 10 days if the Contract was delivered to you at the time of sale. If you made no claim, the Contract is void and the full purchase price will be refunded to you. These provisions apply only to the original purchaser of the Contract. We will pay a penalty of 10% per month on a refund that is not paid or credited within 45 days after the return of the Contract to us. The administrative fee may not exceed 10% of the gross provider fee paid by the Contract holder. Our obligations are backed by a reimbursement insurance policy. If we fail to pay or to provide service on a claim within 60 days after proof of loss has been filed, the Contract holder is entitled to submit a claim directly to Universal Underwriters Insurance Company, ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇., ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇. The complaint must contain a short and plain description of the dispute, including the efforts made to resolve the dispute and the results of those efforts, the purchase price or lease price of your covered product, the cost of any disputed repairs, and a copy of this service contract document.
