Common use of Capacity Of City As Tenant Clause in Contracts

Capacity Of City As Tenant. Except where clearly and expressly provided otherwise in this Lease, the capacity of the City of Los Angeles in this Lease shall be as a tenant, and any obligations or restrictions imposed by this Lease on City shall be limited to that capacity and shall not relate to or otherwise affect any activity of the City of Los Angeles in its governmental capacity, including, but not limited to, the enactment of laws, inspection of structures, issuance of permits, or any other enforcement functions of the City of Los Angeles pursuant to Federal, state, or local law.
