Common use of Category of Position Clause in Contracts

Category of Position. For the purpose of this Article, the categories of position are: School Secretaries and Custodians and Library Media Technicians. Employees affected by a reduction in force may replace an employee in another non-bargaining unit category of position if the Employee affected by the layoff has more seniority than the employee in the category of position who could be displaced and the Employee was previously in the other non-bargaining unit category of position.
