Charitable Purpose. The Foundation and the University shall use the Contributed Amount solely for the Center Programs, which is a charitable purpose described in section 170(c)(2)(B) of the Code. The Foundation and the University shall not use the Contributed Amount to influence legislation as described in section 4945(d)(1) of the Code, to influence the outcome of any election, for a political campaign or intervention, to carry on any voter registration drive, or any other purpose that would jeopardize the Donor’s tax-exempt status or subject the Donor to penalties under Chapter 42 of the Code.
Charitable Purpose. The University shall use the Contributed Amount solely for the Program Activities, which is a charitable purpose described in section 170(c)(2)(B) of the Code. The University shall not use the Contributed Amount to influence legislation as described in section 4945(d)(1) of the Code, to influence the outcome of any election, for a political campaign or intervention, to carry on any voter registration drive, or any other purpose that would jeopardize the Donor’s tax-exempt status or subject the Donor to penalties under Chapter 42 of the Code.
Charitable Purpose. Participant acknowledges and agrees that the University’s Athletic Facilities are devoted to use for educational and related charitable purposes. Participant acknowledges and agrees that the University is allowing Participant to use its Athletic Facilities connection with its charitable mission and that Participant is a beneficiary of this mission.
Charitable Purpose. The Foundation is making the Foundation Investment as a “program-related investment” within the meaning of Section 4944(c) of the Code. The Foundation is committed to accelerating the development of lifesaving and low-cost drugs, therapeutics, diagnostics, and prophylactics to reduce the burden of disease in developing countries in furtherance of its mission to help all people lead healthy, productive lives. The Foundation’s primary purpose in making the Foundation Investment is to secure Global Access to new, low-cost products and services developed through the use of the Company’s proprietary capabilities and intellectual property, including in respect of the development, manufacturing, commercialization and distribution of (a) diagnostic tests, (b) integrated point-of-care diagnostic platforms, and (c) connected health IT and care solutions in furtherance of the Foundation’s charitable mission (collectively, the “Charitable Purpose”). In furtherance of the Charitable Purpose, the Foundation Investment will secure the Global Access Commitments described below.
Charitable Purpose. It is the intent of the parties that this Agreement and the contributions contemplated hereby shall for all purposes be treated as a charitable contribution made to an organization organized and operated under Section 501(c)(3) of the Code. It is intended that the charitable contributions made by this Agreement be used for charitable, educational or scientific purposes as permitted to an organization organized and operated under Section 501(c)(3) of the Code.
Charitable Purpose. In no case shall the Executive Committee take any action that would be deemed to cause either Project to be operated in a manner other than exclusively for charitable purposes consistent with Section 501(c)(3) of the Tax Code.
Charitable Purpose. Nothing in this Agreement shall be interpreted to require United Way to distribute funds to Agency for any purpose.
Charitable Purpose. The Foundation and the University shall use the Contributed Amount solely for the Center Fi'<>grams, which is a charitable purpose described in section 1'70(c)(2)(B) ofthe Code. The Foundation and the University shall not use the Contributed Amount to influence legislation as described in section 4945(d)(l) of the Code, to influence the outcome of any election, for a political campaign or intervention, to cany on any voter registration drive, or any other purpose that wouldjeopardize the Donor's tax•exempt status or subject the Donor to penalties under Chapter 42 of the Code.
Charitable Purpose. The Foundation is making the Foundation Investment as a “program-related investment” within the meaning of Section 4944(c) of the Code. The Foundation’s primary purpose in making the Foundation Investment is to further significantly the accomplishment of the Foundation’s charitable purposes, including the relief of the poor, distressed and underprivileged, the advancement of science, and the promotion of health by accelerating the development of lifesaving and low-cost drugs, vaccines, therapeutics and diagnostics to reduce the burden of disease in Developing Countries in furtherance of its mission to help all people lead healthy, productive lives (collectively, the “Charitable Purpose”). In furtherance of the Charitable Purpose, the Foundation requires that the innovations, products and information developed with its funding be created and managed to ensure Global Access can be achieved. In furtherance of the Charitable Purpose, the Foundation Investment in the Company will secure the Global Access Commitments set forth below.
Charitable Purpose. Grantee agrees to use the funds only for the purposes described in this Agreement, and to so designate the funds in Grantee’s records. Grantee further agrees to use the funds only for charitable purposes as defined from time to time by Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) and equivalent provisions of applicable state law, and not to use the funds in violation of the provisions of the Internal Revenue Code governing grantees of private foundations.
