Charters etc Sample Clauses

The 'Charters etc' clause defines the rules and requirements regarding the use, issuance, or transfer of charters, permits, or similar authorizations within the context of the agreement. It typically outlines the responsibilities of the parties in maintaining valid charters, the process for obtaining necessary approvals, and any restrictions on assignment or modification. For example, in a shipping contract, this clause might specify which party is responsible for securing a vessel's charter or ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Its core function is to ensure that all necessary legal and operational authorizations are properly managed, thereby reducing the risk of non-compliance or operational delays.
