Classified Personnel. Classified Personnel Definition (March, 2010) Classified personnel are employees who hold a position that does not require a Missouri teaching certificate and are not engaged in classroom teaching. Classified personnel also include the category “professionally trained and licensed staff” who have a B.S./B.A. and/or are currently licensed by the State of Missouri to practice and are employed by the school board in the area of their registration or license.
