Saturday Work A day worker required to work overtime on a Saturday shall be afforded at least four hours work or paid for four hours at the rate of time and one half for the first three hours and double time thereafter, except where the overtime is continuous with overtime commenced on the previous day.
Sunday Work Employees required to work overtime on Sundays shall be paid for a minimum of three hours work at double time. The double time is to be paid until the employee is relieved from duty.

Weekend Scheduling It is the policy of the Employer to schedule those nurses who so desire every other weekend off, with the exception of those nurses who have signed an authorization to work consecutive weekends. Annual Leave Exclusive of Public Holidays The period of annual leave prescribed by this clause is exclusive of any public holidays, and if any such holiday falls within an employee’s period of annual leave and is observed on a day which in the case of that employee would have been an ordinary working day, there will be added to the period of annual leave time equivalent to the ordinary time which the employee would have worked if such day had not been a holiday.
