Common use of CO-PAY REIMBURSEMENT Clause in Contracts

CO-PAY REIMBURSEMENT. The District will set aside $50,000 annually to reimburse faculty employees with District-paid benefits for copays. These funds will be used on a first-come, first- served basis until the money is exhausted. Unused funds will not accumulate from year to year. Co-pays eligible for reimbursement will be office, emergency room, and hospital visits, and prescription drugs. To be eligible, an employee must have provided evidence to the District showing that he/she has spent in excess of $500 in that fiscal year for copays. Percentage copays, including out-of-network PPO, dental and vision copays, are not eligible for reimbursement.
