CODES AND STANDARDS. The Parties shall discuss any conflict that either Party reasonably believes that there is or will be between any of the Codes and Standards, or between any of the Codes and Standards and any other obligation under this Contract, and the Supplier shall make proposals for resolution of the conflict for consideration by the Authority.
CODES AND STANDARDS. Under the various sections of the specifications, where reference is made to specific codes or standards governing the installation of specified items, installation shall in all cases be in strict accordance with the referenced codes and standards. Where no reference is made to specific codes or standards, installation shall conform to the generally recognized applicable standards for first-class installation of the specific item to be installed. Contractors are expected to be proficient and skilled in their respective trades and knowledgeable of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the current edition of the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (USBC) and its referenced technical codes and standards, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and other codes and standards applicable to installations and associated work by its trade and/or that are applicable to the Work.

CODES AND STANDARDS. Wherever reference is made to codes, standard specifications, or other data published by regulating agencies it shall be understood that said reference is to the latest edition published prior to the date of the Contract Documents. These regulating agencies include, but are not limited to, North Carolina state building codes, federal specifications, national electric codes, ASTM specifications and various institute specifications.

CODES AND STANDARDS. The generator set shall conform to the requirements of the following codes and standards: 2.4.1. CSA C22.2, No. 14 - M91 Industrial Control Equipment. 2.4.2. UL2200. The generator set shall be listed to UL2200 or submit to an independent third party certification process to verify compliance as installed. 2.4.3. Unit shall be EPA/CARB compliant.
