Codes and Standards Under the various sections of the specifications, where reference is made to specific codes or standards governing the installation of specified items, installation shall in all cases be in strict accordance with the referenced codes and standards. Where no reference is made to specific codes or standards, installation shall conform to the generally recognized applicable standards for first-class installation of the specific item to be installed. Contractors are expected to be proficient and skilled in their respective trades and knowledgeable of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the current edition of the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (USBC) and its referenced technical codes and standards, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and other codes and standards applicable to installations and associated work by its trade and/or that are applicable to the Work.
COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAWS AND STANDARDS 9.1.1 Each party must comply with all Applicable Laws in performing their obligations under this Agreement.
Governing Laws and Regulations a. That this Agreements shall be governed by the provisions of the India Contract Act, 1872, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, Consumer Protection (Direct Selling} Rules, 2021 or other laws of the land.
Applicable Laws and Regulations All duly promulgated applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, rules, ordinances, codes, decrees, judgments, directives, or judicial or administrative orders, permits and other duly authorized actions of any Governmental Authority having jurisdiction over the relevant parties, their respective facilities, and/or the respective services they provide.
Laws and Regulations All Equipment, Products, or Services provided under this Contract must comply fully with applicable federal laws and regulations, and with the laws in the states and provinces in which the Equipment, Products, or Services are sold.
Compliance with Data Privacy and Security Laws and Standards Contractor shall comply with all applicable State and federal data privacy and data security laws, rules, and regulations.
U.S. Laws and Regulations You understand that as a subsidiary of Citigroup Inc., a U.S. financial holding company, we are required to observe certain U.S. laws and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to economic sanctions on certain countries, organizations and/or individuals issued by the U.S. government. You understand and accept that these laws and regulations may result in us taking or refraining from taking certain actions, including but not limited to suspending or terminating your card account(s) or holding or returning the funds which are the subject of payment instructions made by you or in your favour. Neither Citibank Singapore Limited nor any Citigroup Organisation will be liable for any loss to you as a result of our taking or refraining from taking any actions (which we consider in our sole determination, to be appropriate or requested) to comply with any U.S. laws or regulations.
Compliance with Applicable Laws and Regulations (a) The Company shall not be required to issue or deliver any Shares pursuant to this Agreement pending compliance with all applicable federal and state securities and other laws (including any registration requirements or tax withholding requirements) and compliance with the rules and practices of any stock exchange upon which the Company’s Shares are listed.
Compliance with Laws and Rules You agree to comply with all state and federal laws, rules, and regulations applicable to you and to your use of the Services (the “Laws”), including the operating rules of all systems used to provide Services to you (the “Rules”), and to provide evidence reasonably satisfactory to us of the same if requested by us. You agree not to use the Service for any illegal purpose, including but not limited to illegal Internet gambling. Without limitation, you agree and acknowledge that the Services may not be used by you in violation of the laws of the United States, including sanction laws administered by the Office of Foreign Asset Controls. You acknowledge and agree that the software you use to access Services may be subject to restrictions and controls imposed by the Export Administration Act and the Export Administration Regulations. You agree and certify that neither the software nor any direct product thereof is being or will be used by you for any purpose prohibited by these Acts. Additionally, each Account and the Services will be subject to and governed by the following: • The terms or instructions appearing on a screen when using a Service; • Our Deposit Agreement, and our rules, procedures, and policies; • Applicable provisions of the rules of the National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) for bill payments facilitated through the ACH; • Applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations; and • The rules of other funds transfer systems when used in connection with a Service. Nothing in this Agreement relieves you of any obligation you may have under the Laws or the Rules, and this Agreement is deemed modified to the extent necessary to allow or require you to comply with the same. You will implement and maintain procedures, including retention of legal or compliance services, to ensure that you are able to comply with all current and future Laws and Rules, including any changes to them. We are not obligated to provide information, updates or notice of or regarding the Laws or the Rules, even if we are aware of the same and of the potential for material impact on you and your use of the Services, and your indemnification and other obligations to us are not relieved or reduced by our not providing the same to you. If we do provide information, updates or notices of or regarding the Laws or the Rules to you, we are not responsible for the accuracy of the same and may discontinue doing so at any time.
Compliance with Laws and Regulations A. The Parties shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, safety; security; export control; environmental; and suspension and debarment laws and regulations. Access by a Partner to NASA facilities or property, or to a NASA Information Technology (IT) system or application, is contingent upon compliance with NASA security and safety policies and guidelines including, but not limited to, standards on badging, credentials, and facility and IT system/application access.
