Commercial Solid Waste. “Commercial Solid Waste” means Solid Waste routinely originating from stores, business offices and other commercial and light industrial sources, excluding residences and wastes from heavy industry (i.e., industry that manufactures or processes petroleum, lumber, steel, chemicals, explosives, fertilizers, gas, rubber, cement, sugar and other products [see section 84-60.402 of the Contra Costa County Ordinance Code.]).

The term "Commercial Solid Waste" does not include hazardous wastes generated by commercial, excluding residences and wastes from heavy industry (i.e.industrial, industry that manufactures or processes petroleumgovernmental, lumber, steel, chemicals, explosives, fertilizers, gas, rubber, cement, sugar public entity and other products [see section 84-60.402 of the Contra Costa County Ordinance Codesources and which are placed in separate containers and which are covered by hazardous waste manifests.]).
