Compassionate Visit. If We have accepted a Claim for Accidental Death, Permanent Total Disablement, Permanent Partial Disablement or Temporary Total Disablement in accordance with Benefit 1, 2, 3 or 4 of Section A, then We will reimburse the costs of to and fro economy class ticket up to the limit specified in the Policy Schedule / Certificate of Insurance for one of the Insured Person’s Immediate Relatives to travel from their place of residence to the location of the Insured Person.
Compassionate Visit. If You suffer a Serious Injury or Serious Illness during Your Overseas Journey and as a result of this, confined in a Hospital as a registered in- patient for more than three (3) consecutive days and no other Adult Family Member is with You, We will reimburse the reasonable and necessary Common Carrier (economy class return fare) expenses and Hotel accommodation including any mandatory taxes and charges incurred by one (1) person to travel from Malaysia to be with You until You are discharged from the Hospital: If You suffer a Disability during Your Journey which results in death and no other Adult Family Member is with You, We will reimburse the reasonable and necessary Common Carrier (economy class return fare) expenses and Hotel accommodation including any mandatory taxes and charges incurred by one (1) person to travel from Malaysia to attend Your repatriation burial or cremation at the place of Your death.
Compassionate Visit. In the event of an Insured Person sustaining Accidental Serious Bodily Injury or sudden Serious Sickness or death during the Covered Trip resulting in Hospital confinement outside Hong Kong, the Company will, subject to the Terms of this Policy, arrange and pay for the reasonable hotel accommodation and traveling expenses necessarily incurred by one of the Immediate Family Member or one Traveling Companion of Insured Person to travel to or stay behind, to be with and/or take care of the injured Insured Person. All decisions as to the selection of airline and the selection of hotel will be made by the Emergency Assistance Provider. This Policy will not cover any visit that is not arranged by the Emergency Assistance Provider.
Compassionate Visit. In the event of the Insured suffering from serious Bodily Injury or sudden Illness that requires Emergency treatment and resulting in hospital confinement outside his/her Place of Residence for more than 10 (ten) consecutive days, IPA will on behalf of the Company arrange and pay for the cost of round-trip scheduled airline (on economy fare basis) for a relative or designated person of the Insured to travel from the Insured's Place of Residence to the Insured's bedside, including the cost of an ordinary room accommodation in any reasonable hotel up to HKD1,200.00 per day for a maximum period of 5 (five) consecutive days, but excluding the cost of drinks, meals and other room services. The maximum amount payable under this section is HKD40,000.

Compassionate Visit. We will indemnify the costs of a return journey undertaken by air/ rail/ road (to and fro) up to the limit specified in the Policy Schedule under this Benefit for one of the Insured Person’s Immediate Relative to travel from the place of the Immediate Relative’s residence to the Hospital where the Insured Person is hospitalized, in case Hospitalization of the Insured Person extends beyond 5 consecutive days provided that:
(a) We have accepted a Claim for In-patient Treatment or Day Care Treatment under the Policy Further,
(a) In case of Individual policy, this payout will available on individual basis and in case of Floater Policy the payout will be available on floater basis.
(b) The payment under this benefit is over and above the Base Sum Insured.
(c) For the purpose of this Benefit, the term “Immediate Relative” would mean the Insured Person’s spouse, children or parents.
Compassionate Visit. The Company will reimburse up to the Maximum Benefit as stated in the Schedule of Benefits for the reasonable additional Accommodation and/or Travel Ticket necessarily incurred by one (1) adult Immediate Family Member to fly over or one (1) Traveling Companion of the Insured Person to fly over or stay behind, to be with and/or take care of the Insured Person, following the death, Serious Injury Or Serious Sickness of the Insured Person during the insured Journey. This coverage can only be utilized once during the insured Journey.
Compassionate Visit. If an Insured Person requires Hospitalization due to Injury or Illness, as specified in the Policy Schedule / Certificate of Insurance, suffered or contracted during the Travel Period, then We will pay the amount incurred for direct route return (two way) economy class tickets or a fixed amount, as specified in the Policy Schedule / Certificate of Insurance for an Immediate Relative of the Insured Person, to travel from the City of Residence to the place of Hospitalization of the Insured Person. This Benefit will be payable provided that:
a) Our liability to make any payment under this Benefit shall commence only after a continuous and completed minimum number of days of Hospitalization of the Insured Person as specified in the Policy Schedule / Certificate of Insurance for each claim;
b) The Insured Person is Hospitalized at a distance of at least 100 kilometres from his/her City of Residence;
c) No Day Care Treatment will be covered under this Benefit.
d) We shall not accept more than one claim under this Benefit in respect of the Insured Person following from the same Accident;
e) The Immediate Relative of the Insured Person’s return to the City of Residence shall commence not later than the date of the Insured Person’s return.
Compassionate Visit. IPA may arrange and pay for the cost of an economy round trip transportation plus accommodation expenses up to HK$16,000 for a person chosen by the Member, or a relative if the Member is unable to choose due to his condition, to join him if the Member has been in Hospital Confinement abroad for more than seven (7) consecutive days.
Compassionate Visit. The Insurer shall pay compensation, to the Insured in the event of Compassionate Visit by one Immediate Family Member, upto the amount stated in the Policy Schedule to the Policy, as per the terms and conditions and the exclusions below. Terms & Conditions
1. In the event the Insured is Hospitalised for more than seven (7) consecutive days, and his medical condition forbids his repatriation and no adult member of his immediate Family is already present, the Insurer or Overseas Administrator or Indian Administrator, after obtaining confirmation of need for a companion from our panel Doctor / Overseas Administrator or Indian Administrator, will provide a round trip economy class air ticket, or first class railway ticket (the cost of whichever of the two is lesser), to allow one Immediate Family Member, during the entire period of insurance, to be at his bedside for the duration of his stay in the Hospital.
2. Additionally, the Insurer will refund the cost of stay of one immediate Family member, up to the amount stated in the Policy Schedule. In any event, the Insurer’s total liability for round trip transport and for daily allowances (accommodation and transportation only) shall not exceed the maximum amount stated in the Policy Schedule under the benefit of Compassionate visit.
3. In the event Parent(s), spouse / child of the Insured is Hospitalised for more than seven consecutive days, the Insurer or Overseas Administrator or Indian Administrator, after obtaining confirmation of need for a companion from our panel Doctor / Overseas Administrator or Indian Administrator, will provide a round trip economy class air ticket, or first class railway ticket (the cost of whichever of the two is lesser), to allow the Insured to be at the bedside of his Parent(s), spouse / child for the duration of his/her stay in the Hospital.
4. In any event, the Insurer’s total liability for round-trip transport shall not exceed the maximum amount stated in the Policy Schedule under this Policy the benefit of Compassionate visit of this policy. Exclusions: The Insurer shall not be liable for any claim under this Cover that is caused by or is attributable to or arises out of or is howsoever connected to any of the following:
