Compensation for Overtime Pay Status. The Chief Administrative Officer or designee may grant to eligible employees compensatory time at 1 1/2 times the excess hours worked when budgetary limitations preclude the payment of overtime compensation, except when the Fair Labor Standards Act requires overtime pay.
