There shall be no pay deduction from an employee's regular scheduled shift when the employee has com- pleted any portion of the shift prior to going on sick leave benefits or Workers' Compensation benefits. Employees absent on approved leave paid by the Employer or by the Workers' Compensation Board, shall for the purposes of computing overtime pay during the work schedule in which the absence occurred, be con- sidered as having worked their regularly scheduled hours during such leave of absence. Effective October employees shall progress on such grid on the basis t h a t hours worked equals one ( 1 ) year of service. Where, however, part- time employees are on a single rate structure, the full - time wage s h a l l apply and progression the shall be i n accordance with t h e foregoing.
