Completion of Apprenticeship. An apprentice, upon completion of his/her apprenticeship and certification, shall receive the journeyperson's classification and the applicable top rate of pay. No certificates will be issued by the Apprenticeship Branch, Ontario Department of Labour, unless approved by the Joint Apprenticeship Committee.
Completion of Apprenticeship. 9.1 Upon completion of the apprenticeship, the Joint Apprenticeship Committee will request the Technical Training Centre to apply to the Registration Agency for the issuance of a Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship to the apprentice. (a) Following the satisfactory completion of the seven hundred thirty-two (732) working days, except as provided in Rule 15, an apprentice shall establish a seniority date as a journeyman Electrician at the location where employed. The journeyman seniority date shall be the date the Apprentice established an Electrician Apprentice seniority date. Under the application of Rule 7, an Apprentice permanently transferred to another location will not acquire a seniority date at the new location prior to the date the transfer is effective unless the transfer is pursuant to a transaction covered by an Implementing Agreement.
