Completion of Apprenticeship. An apprentice, upon completion of his/her apprenticeship and certification, shall receive the journeyperson's classification and the applicable top rate of pay. No certificates will be issued by the Apprenticeship Branch, Ontario Department of Labour, unless approved by the Joint Apprenticeship Committee.
Completion of Apprenticeship. 9.1 Upon completion of the apprenticeship, the Joint Apprenticeship Committee will request the Technical Training Centre to apply to the Registration Agency for the issuance of a Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship to the apprentice. Completion of Apprenticeship. 6.1 Once the apprenticeship has been successfully completed, the Company will authorize all applicable certificates and present them to the tradesperson.

Employees who acquire their trade certification through the Company apprenticeship program will be required to remain in the chosen trade for a minimum of two (2) years from time of placement. The company will not pay for time missed during training courses and record absences as time missed from work. Hours missed during the course will be deducted from an apprentices pay. Wage rates during the apprenticeship training program will be paid in accordance with the following wage grid: The Production Operator B training program is vital to the long term sustainability of the plant. The objective is to improve skills and knowledge in order to apply them consistently under real working conditions. Vacancies for the Production Operator B position shall be posted as per Article 6. Selection criteria will be determined by the company which will include the following: • relevant skills and experience • process and aptitude test • interview The company reserves the right to hire externally, provided there are no suitable internal candidates.
