Comprehensive Analysis of Injuries and Illnesses. The Department agrees that comprehensive analysis will be performed to determine causes and appropriate corrective actions concerning patterns of injuries and illnesses that occur at each facility. The analysis will examine such factors as: the general conditions under which the affected employee’s job is performed; the processes and procedures involved in the performance of that job; and, any unusual factors that may have contributed to the injury or illness. Recommendations to correct the conditions that contributed to the injury or illness will be included in the written results of this analysis and presented to the facility safety committee. Particular attention will be paid where patterns of injuries or illnesses are found in a given occupation, facility, or part of a facility. Experience in correcting hazards will be shared within the Department in an effort to find optimal ways of reducing injuries and illnesses. The Department shall post a copy of its agency annual summary of federal occupational injuries and illnesses for a facility, as compiled pursuant to 29 CFR 1960.67 or 1960.69, at such facility, not later than 45 calendar days after the close of the fiscal year or otherwise disseminate a copy of the annual summary for a facility in written form to all employees of the facility. Copies of the annual summary shall be posted for a minimum of 30 consecutive days in a conspicuous place or places in the facility where notices to employees are customarily posted. Where facility activities are physically dispersed, the notice may be posted at the location to which employees report each day. Where employees do not primarily work at or report to a single location, the notice may be posted at the location from which the employees operate to carry out their activities. Each federal agency shall take necessary steps to ensure that such summary is not altered, defaced, or covered by other material.

The Department shall provide a copy of any and all analyses performed within 15 days of completion to the Local President. The Department shall pay particular attention where patterns of injuries or illnesses are found in a given occupation, facility or part of facility. Experience in correcting hazards will be shared within the Department in an effort to find optimal ways of reducing injuries and illnesses. Consistent with 29 CFR 1904.32, VA Directive 7700 and VHA Directive 2006-033, OSHA Form 300-A, Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses, is to be posted in the workplace annually. Copies of the annual summary shall be posted for a minimum of 30 consecutive days in a conspicuous place or places in the facility where notices to employees are customarily posted. The Department shall take necessary steps to ensure that such summary is not altered, defaced or covered by other material.
Comprehensive Analysis of Injuries and Illnesses. Upon written request, the Union will be provided any available sanitized reports of job related injury and/or illness claims filed during a given period.

  • Investigation of Accidents The Occupational Health and Safety Committees, as provided in Clause 22.2, shall be notified of each accident or injury and shall investigate and report to the Union and Employer on the nature and cause of the accident or injury. In the event of a fatality the Employer shall immediately notify the President of the nature and circumstances of the accident.

  • Environmental and Social Safeguards All of the Projects will be implemented in compliance with the MCC Environmental Guidelines and the MCC Gender Policy, and any resettlement will be carried out in accordance with the World Bank’s Operational Policy on Involuntary Resettlement in effect as of July 2007 (“OP 4.12”) in a manner acceptable to MCC. In accordance with its policies, the Government will ensure that the Projects comply with all national environmental laws and regulations, licenses and permits, except to the extent such compliance would be inconsistent with this Compact. Specifically, the Government will: (a) cooperate with or complete, as the case may be, any ongoing environmental assessments, or if necessary undertake and complete any additional environmental assessments, social assessments, environmental management plans, environmental and social audits, resettlement policy frameworks, and resettlement action plans required under the laws of Indonesia, the MCC Environmental Guidelines, this Compact, the PIA, or any Supplemental Agreement, or as otherwise required by MCC, each in form and substance satisfactory to MCC; (b) ensure that Project-specific environmental and social management plans are developed and all relevant measures contained in such plans are integrated into project design, the applicable procurement documents and associated finalized contracts, in each case, in form and substance satisfactory to MCC; and (c) implement to MCC’s satisfaction appropriate environmental and social mitigation measures identified in such assessments or plans. Unless MCC agrees otherwise in writing, the Government will fund all necessary costs of environmental and social mitigation measures (including, without limitation, costs of resettlement) not specifically provided for, or that exceed the MCC Funding specifically allocated for such costs in, the Detailed Financial Plan for any Project. To maximize the positive social impacts of the Projects, address cross-cutting social and gender issues such as human trafficking, child and forced labor, and HIV/AIDS, and to ensure compliance with the MCC Gender Policy, the Government will: (x) develop a comprehensive social and gender integration plan which, at a minimum, identifies approaches for regular, meaningful and inclusive consultations with women and other vulnerable/underrepresented groups, consolidates the findings and recommendations of Project-specific social and gender analyses and sets forth strategies for incorporating findings of the social and gender analyses into final Project designs as appropriate (“Social and Gender Integration Plan”); and (y) ensure, through monitoring and coordination during implementation, that final Activity designs, construction tender documents and implementation plans are consistent with and incorporate the outcomes of the social and gender analyses and social and gender integration plan. To address gender concerns that impact women’s ability to participate across Projects, MCA- Indonesia will adopt a detailed workplan, subject to MCC approval, for gender work to be undertaken at the policy, institutional capacity building and community levels (the “Targeted Gender Activities”). Xxxxx XX sets forth the MCC Funding allocated for the performance of the Targeted Gender Activities. Prior to the second disbursement of MCC Funding for the Targeted Gender Activities, MCA-Indonesia shall have completed detailed action plans and provided evidence of demonstrated commitment of relevant stakeholders to addressing policy constraints identified in the workplan.

  • Management of Special and Technical Environment Each certificated support person demonstrates an acceptable level of performance in managing and organizing the special materials, equipment and environment essential to the specialized programs.

  • Vaccination and Inoculation ‌ (a) The Employer agrees to take all reasonable precautions to limit the spread of infectious diseases among employees, including in-service seminars for employees. Where the Employer or Occupational Health and Safety Committee identifies high risk areas which expose employees to infectious or communicable diseases for which there are protective immunizations available, such immunizations shall be provided at no cost to the employee. The Committee may consult with the Medical Health Officer. Where the Medical Health Officer identifies such a risk, the immunization shall also be provided at no cost. The Employer shall provide Hepatitis B vaccine, free of charge, to those employees who may be exposed to bodily fluids or other sources of infection. (b) An employee may be required by the Employer, at the request of and at the expense of the Employer, to take a medical examination by a physician of the employee's choice. Employees may be required to take skin tests, x-ray examination, vaccination, and other immunization (with the exception of a rubella vaccination when the employee is of the opinion that a pregnancy is possible), unless the employee's physician has advised in writing that such a procedure may have an adverse effect on the employee's health.

  • Clinical 1.1 Provides comprehensive evidence based nursing care and individual case management to a specific group of patients/clients including assessment, intervention and evaluation. 1.2 Undertakes clinical shifts at the direction of senior staff and the Nursing Director including participation on the on-call/after-hours/weekend roster if required. 1.3 Responsible and accountable for patient safety and quality of care through planning, coordinating, performing, facilitating, and evaluating the delivery of patient care relating to a particular group of patients, clients or staff in the practice setting. 1.4 Monitors, reviews and reports upon the standard of nursing practice to ensure that colleagues are working within the scope of nursing practice, following appropriate clinical pathways, policies, procedures and adopting a risk management approach in patient care delivery. 1.5 Participates in xxxx rounds/case conferences as appropriate. 1.6 Educates patients/carers in post discharge management and organises discharge summaries/referrals to other services, as appropriate. 1.7 Supports and liaises with patients, carers, colleagues, medical, nursing, allied health, support staff, external agencies and the private sector to provide coordinated multidisciplinary care. 1.8 Completes clinical documentation and undertakes other administrative/management tasks as required. 1.9 Participates in departmental and other meetings as required to meet organisational and service objectives. 1.10 Develops and seeks to implement change utilising expert clinical knowledge through research and evidence based best practice. 1.11 Monitors and maintains availability of consumable stock. 1.12 Complies with and demonstrates a positive commitment to Regulations, Acts and Policies relevant to nursing including the Code of Ethics for Nurses in Australia, the Code of Conduct for Nurses in Australia, the National Competency Standards for the Registered Nurse and the Poisons Act 2014 and Medicines and Poisons Regulations 2016. 1.13 Promotes and participates in team building and decision making. 1.14 Responsible for the clinical supervision of nurses at Level 1 and/or Enrolled Nurses/ Assistants in Nursing under their supervision.

  • DEVELOPMENT OR ASSISTANCE IN DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS/ STATEMENTS OF WORK

  • Delays and Complaints Delivery delays and service complaints will be monitored on a continual basis. Documented inability to perform under the conditions of the contract, via the Complaint to Vendor process (PUR 7017 form) contemplated for this Contract, may result in default proceedings and cancellation.

  • MANAGEMENT OF EVALUATION OUTCOMES 12.1 Where the Employer is, any time during the Employee’s employment, not satisfied with the Employee’s performance with respect to any matter dealt with in this Agreement, the Employer will give notice to the Employee to attend a meeting; 12.2 The Employee will have the opportunity at the meeting to satisfy the Employer of the measures being taken to ensure that his performance becomes satisfactory and any programme, including any dates, for implementing these measures; 12.3 Where there is a dispute or difference as to the performance of the Employee under this Agreement, the Parties will confer with a view to resolving the dispute or difference; and 12.4 In the case of unacceptable performance, the Employer shall – 12.4.1 Provide systematic remedial or developmental support to assist the Employee to improve his performance; and 12.4.2 After appropriate performance counselling and having provided the necessary guidance and/or support as well as reasonable time for improvement in performance, the Employer may consider steps to terminate the contract of employment of the Employee on grounds of unfitness or incapacity to carry out his or her duties.

  • Musculoskeletal Injury Prevention and Control The hospital in consultation with the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) shall develop, establish and put into effect, musculoskeletal prevention and control measures, procedures, practices and training for the health and safety of employees.
