Construction Power. 47.01 The contractor shall arrange power for construction work at his own cost.
Construction Power. Contractor shall design and install a construction power distribution system to supply construction power to the main construction work areas. Contractor shall negotiate with AEP for the supply of a connection to AEP’s existing power supply network for use for construction, if applicable. Connection to the AEP existing power supply network for construction power distribution shall be to the Contractor’s account. Additionally, Contractor shall engage into a contract for construction energy supply with any of the Texas available REP’s. Construction electrical energy usage shall be to the Contractor’s account. Contractor shall provide and maintain all construction electrical facilities to the individual process units and area battery limits. Contractor is not required to supply construction power to the Rio Bravo Pipeline custody transfer battery limit metering station, or to the AEP 138 kV electrical switchyard construction sites, except where required by fence line security systems. Contractor shall design, provide, and install transformation, and distribution of construction power as necessary within the Site boundary. Contractor shall provide generation of construction power by temporary diesel generators up until that time construction power supply is available, and for use in parts of the Site remote from Contractor’s Site construction power distribution system and/or where cable supplied construction power does not fully meet the demand. The permanent power supply to the Facility will be provided from AEP’s Pompano switchyard, which will be located within the Facility fence line at its northern perimeter and constructed by a third party. Power from the Pompano switchyard is expected to become available by Mechanical Completion before Contractor’s pre-commissioning activities are due to commence. The connection of the Facility to the AEP grid is at Transmission line level. Contractor may, subject to prior agreement with AEP and Owner, arrange for supply of construction power for use during construction to be changed over from contractor’s connection to AEP to supply from the Pompano switchyard, or part of the permanent power supply system for the Project fed from the Pompano switchyard, should this be beneficial to the Project. Costs for this change in power source shall be to Contractor’s account. Construction Power. Construction power used in connection with construction of Unit 2 shall be provided by Aquila’s St. Xxxxxx Light and Power Division under the applicable retail rate schedules or a special contract. Notwithstanding the foregoing, however, each of the Owners shall have the option to self-supply its share of construction power to the extent permitted by law.
Construction Power. The following power supply sources will be used for construction power: Muskrat Falls: A 25 kV tap from the construction power system for the Muskrat Falls Generating Facility (see Construction Power) Forteau Point: A 25 kV tap from an existing distribution system located approximately 2.5 km away. Shoal Cove: A 25 kV tap from an existing distribution system located approximately 700m away. L’Anse Au Diable: A 14.4 kV tap from an existing distribution system located approximately 400 m away. Xxxxxx’x Point: A 14.4 kV tap from an existing distribution system located approximately 1.5 km away. Soldiers Pond: A 25 kV tap from an existing distribution system located approximately 4 km away.
Construction Power. OWNER will provide and pay for all electricity needed during the Construction, including the permanent power loop required by DESIGN/BUILDER, by contracting with DESIGN/BUILDER for the installation of the same and which will be billed to OWNER as an additional cost, and not part of, the Contract Price.
Construction Power. By separate agreement with either Cogenerator or its contractor, Company, acting through its Texas Electric Service Company division, will furnish electric power and energy required for construction of the Plant ("Construction Power and Energy") upon its standard terms and conditions and at its rates from time to time in effect. Such separate agreement may require payment for installation of temporary facilities if Construction Power and Energy is required in advance of completion of the Cogenerator Substation and Interconnection Facilities.

Notwithstanding the above, extended interruption of construction power not caused by Contractor that delays the Project Critical Path or for items not on the Project Critical Path an interruption of a continuous period of construction constituting more than twenty-four hours of Contractor’s Work shall constitute a change entitling Contractor to an equitable adjustment in accordance with Article 13 of this Contract.
