Common use of Construction Wiring Clause in Contracts

Construction Wiring. ‌ a) Where the Company is responsible for the installation of Construction wiring (including testing and tagging), such work shall comply with the applicable standards from time to time, which at the time of making this agreement are AS/NZS 3012:2019 and AS/NZS 3000:2018. b) Except as otherwise provided for in this agreement, the Company will only utilise licensed electricians to perform such work. The Parties agree to develop an appropriate training course in AS/NZS 3012:2019, which will then be delivered to those employees responsible for undertaking the work and to ensure compliance with AS 3012:2019. c) It is agreed that apprentices may learn on construction wiring work provided that they must always be under supervision by an accredited tradesperson.
