Continuing Legal Education. Section 1.
Continuing Legal Education. Employees shall be allowed to attend Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars during working hours without loss of pay to meet their State CLE requirements. Thereafter, employees may attend work related CLE seminars during working hours without loss of pay provided 1) the seminar does not interfere or conflict with or otherwise affect his/her assigned job duties; 2) the seminar is offered in the State of Ohio, and 3) the seminar does not result in any costs to the Employer.
Continuing Legal Education. In order to permit the Executive to comply with her continuing legal education requirement under the applicable rules of the state(s) in which she is licensed to practice law, the Company shall reimburse reasonable pre-approved expenses incurred by the Executive for the purpose of attending continuing legal education programs related to the Executive’s practice of law, which expenses shall include the cost of attending any such programs as well as any travel and other expenses incurred in attending any such programs. The Executive shall use her best efforts to obtain any and all continuing legal education credit on-line or within Maricopa County, Arizona.
Continuing Legal Education. Section 1. The Department encourages the professional development of its staff through provision of in-house CLE programs and by paying the cost of outside programs, subject to the availability of funds budgeted by the Department for CLE expenses. Each Division Administrator (other than the Administrator of DCS) will be given a biennial budget for attorney CLE expenses. Such budget may be modified by the Deputy Attorney General or designee as he/she determines necessary, based on the Department's financial condition. Each Administrator will review and approve CLE requests for attorneys within his or her division in a manner consistent with the guidelines set forth below. Administrative Services will provide each Division with a quarterly accounting of CLE expenditures, indicating the amount remaining in each division's budget. Out-of-state travel requires approval by the Deputy Attorney General or designee.
Continuing Legal Education. Xxx. Xxxxxx shall be entitled to reimbursement for registration fees, travel food, lodging, and related expenses for Continuing Legal Education courses, consistent with Section 112.061, F.S, School Board Policy and departmental budgeting procedures.
Continuing Legal Education. Section 1. a. The Employer shall provide appropriate time off for satisfying all Continuing Legal Education required by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Such education shall be scheduled and paid for by the Employer for courses offered and/or sponsored by Commonwealth training resources. Courses offered by private entities will be considered for reimbursement only when the Commonwealth does not offer sufficient credits to enable employees to fulfill the training requirements imposed by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. When employees elect to schedule required Continuing Legal Education on their own, time off for such training must be approved by the employee's immediate supervisor, or designee, and such training shall be paid for by the employee.
Continuing Legal Education. During the Employment Term and any Renewal Term, the Company shall pay for the Executive to attend the requisite continuing legal education programs to maintain her license to practice law.
Continuing Legal Education. City agrees that the Municipal Judge may attend continuing legal education (CLE) training programs and related programs for Municipal Judges as provided in the yearly Budget.
Continuing Legal Education. 1. The Agency has determined that employees who are members of the bar (state, territory or District of Columbia) which requires continuing legal education (CLE) as a requirement for bar membership may be granted a reasonable amount of administrative leave by the LAO to meet the minimum credit hour requirements of that state, territory or District of Columbia provided that the training or educational opportunity is not provided by the Agency, and which qualifies to meet those credit hour requirements. Time will only be granted to attend CLE training scheduled during duty time and must be scheduled in advance with approval of the LAO.
Continuing Legal Education. Each individual Bargaining Unit member is responsible for fulfilling his/her Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements. Prior approval is necessary for attendance at any CLE conference or seminar. Attorneys attending approved CLE conferences or seminars shall not suffer loss of their regular pay by reason of their attendance. Costs of attending CLE seminars or conferences that relate to the job duties of the Agency attorney as set forth in the job description will be paid by the Employer upon approval of the Director or his/her designee. Relevant factors in determining CLE approval include, but are not limited to: cost, work necessity, hours needed by the attorney, and the attorney's biennium CLE status. The Employer shall pay the cost for an attorney's attendance at the seminar required for practice in the federal district courts. Attorneys attending the seminar shall not suffer loss of their regular pay by reason of their attendance. Attorneys will reasonably have the option of earning CLE credits online.
